I am a professional genealogist with over 30 years of research experience. I have experience building small and large scale family histories and trees, oral histories, public document search and retrieval, lineage society applications, and breaking down brick walls. I specialize in Mid-Western, Mid-Atlantic and Southern regional research, military research, 18th-20th century records, Catholic records, and LDS Records. I also speak French fluently and can assist with French records. I have become actively involved with the application of DNA research to family research as well as assisting with finding biological families for adoptees. I have researched in many geographic locations including Illinois, Wisconsin, Ohio, Michigan, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, Georgia & Tennessee.
My own family history traces back to England, Ireland, Germany, and Poland. I have uncovered several “family secrets” and also just busted a brick wall of my own, finding my paternal grandfather, contrary to his birth record, was not the son of his mother’s husband.
I have an Associates Degree (AS) in History, a Bachelors Degree (BBA) in Business Administration/Accounting and a Masters Degree (MBA) in global management.
